I decided to record this short 12 minute episode because 1) there is no good research out there as to what works best FEES vs DEPOSITS, and 2) because I have been thinking and experimenting with this topic a great deal, so I have some data and results that I share in the podcast (it may be directional, but it is a good starting point.
The experience is based on an open-enrollment university environment, so my analysis is based on admitting any student that meets the minimum qualifications. Therefore, Fees vs. Deposits becomes a big decision point (especially with International Students).
